| GloNav to Present at the Oppenheimer Mobility: Moving
Beyond Voice Conference
Bill McLean to
discuss how GloNav's DynaTrak technology is lending a seamless
consumer experience to mobile location-based services
NEWPORT
BEACH, Calif., May 15, 2007 — GloNav Inc.,
a fabless semiconductor company developing global positioning
system (GPS) and other satellite navigation solutions,
today announced it will present at the Oppenheimer Mobility:
Moving Beyond Voice Conference on May 15, 2007, at the
Jolly Hotel - Madison Towers in New York City. GloNav Chief
Executive Officer Bill McLean will participate in the Enabling
Technologies panel, presenting an overview of the company,
products and market opportunity. Following his presentation,
McLean will be available to meet with investors.
"The mobile communications market is more exciting than ever,
as we expand from voice-driven applications to content-rich
features, such as location-based services (LBS)," McLean said. "This
marketplace migration is creating opportunities for GloNav
to embed our GPS solutions into wireless handsets, personal
navigation device (PND) and other consumer electronics devices
worldwide."
Since its launch
in July 2006, GloNav has raced from a standing start
to first customer shipments in less than nine months, less
than half the average time for semiconductor start ups. GloNav
achieved this milestone with the GNS4540,
the industry's lower-power, highest-sensitivity Assisted-GPS
(A-GPS) system solution. The GNS4540 is in design or final
consideration with multiple original equipment manufacturers
(OEMs) and original design manufacturers (ODMs) in the PND,
cellular handset and digital camera markets.
About GloNav's DynaTrak Technology
At the core of the GNS4540 is GloNav's DynaTrak(TM)
advanced tracking and multipath algorithms that provide best-in-class
tracking sensitivity, accuracy and robustness for a seamless
consumer experience. When other solutions dropout — deep indoors,
in urban canyons, transitioning from strong to weak signals,
or from in-vehicle to pedestrian operation — DynaTrak rapidly
adjusts to the dynamic signal environment, allowing the receiver
to track continuously and accurately.
