GloNav Expands Management Team and Asia Pacific Sales Channel
Developer of GPS and satellite navigation solutions signs distribution agreements with CoAsia and Ubitrotech and appoints vice president of Asia Pacific sales

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., May 22, 2007 — GloNav Inc., a fabless semiconductor company developing global positioning system (GPS) and other satellite navigation solutions, today announced expansion of its sales and marketing activities in the Asia Pacific region, focused on cellular handset, personal navigation device (PND) and other consumer electronics makers . As part of the company's Asia Pacific growth initiative, GloNav entered into distribution agreements for the promotion and sale of its products -- including the new GNS4540 high-performance single chip L1 A-GPS solution -- with CoAsia Microelectronics Corporation in Taiwan, CoAsia's subsidiary Silicon Plaza in China and Ubitrotech Co. Ltd. in Korea. In addition, GloNav has appointed Jeff Gray as vice president to oversee Asian sales and technical support operations from its newly opened office in Taiwan.

"As home to many of the world's leading original design (ODM) and original equipment (OEM) manufacturers for handset and consumer electronics, the Asia Pacific region represents a formative investment opportunity for GloNav," said Bill McLean, chief executive officer, GloNav. "With Jeff's appointment as head of Asian sales and technical support operations, we are strengthening our relationships by building sales channels throughout this dynamic region. By making GloNav's industry-leading GPS solutions available to market-defining Asia Pacific ODMs and OEMs, we're increasing our ability to embed the mobile telephones, smartphones and personal navigation devices sold worldwide with GloNav's solutions."

Distribution Alliances Fuel Growth
GloNav is cementing its aggressive Asia Pacific presence with two initial distribution agreements.

Ubitrotech, a provider of navigation software development services for OEMs and ODMs, will provide sales and technical support for all of GloNav's GPS semiconductor products to the Korean cellular handset and mobile consumer electronics markets.

CoAsia, a leading distributor for a major supplier of application processors, TFT displays and embedded flash — with design wins in many leading Taiwanese PND, handset and consumer electronics manufacturers — will market GloNav's products in Taiwan. CoAsia's Hong Kong and China based subsidiary, Silicon Plaza, will provide a full design and customer support channel for China.

Jeff Gray Joins to Lead Asia Pacific Operations
GloNav recruited Gray to serve as its first vice president of Asia Pacific sales and technical support operations.
A seasoned semiconductor professional with 20 years of experience, he has held senior management roles at two publicly traded companies, Infineon and STMicroelectronics, and in start-up environments, including Apogee, Sanburst and Brecis. The senior executive brings technical knowledge and business acumen to his role and is
lauded for establishing relationships with top-tier equipment manufacturers, focusing on sales channel execution and partner selection for distribution and representation, with an emphasis on Asia. Before joining GloNav, he led the semiconductor division of Chipidea Microelectronica as vice president of sales and business development, based
in Asia.

GloNav Solutions Keep on Tracking When Other Technologies Drop Out
GloNav develops GPS products for the wireless handset and mobile consumer electronics device markets. Its suite of critical components for GPS semiconductor solutions includes GPS satellite acquisition and navigation software,
ultra-low power RFIC technology and proprietary DynaTrak(TM) technology. At the core of DynaTrak is advanced tracking and multipath algorithms that provide best-in-class tracking sensitivity, accuracy and robustness. CoAsia
and Ubitrotech will have access to GloNav's product suite, including the new GNS4540 high-performance single chip L1 A-GPS solution.

Offering best-in-class acquisition and tracking sensitivity, time-to-first-fix (TTFF), accuracy and power consumption, the GNS4540 supports both Assisted-GPS operation on GSM, WCDMA and CDMA networks and fully autonomous operation for use in handheld consumer navigation devices and other standalone navigation systems. Featuring the DynaTrak technology, the GNS4540 enables a seamless consumer experience. When other solutions dropout — deep indoors, in urban canyons, transitioning from strong to weak signals, or from in-vehicle to pedestrian operation — the GNS4540 rapidly adjusts to the dynamic signal environment, allowing the receiver to track continuously and accurately.
