GPS

In GPS applications, we give manufacturers performance that exceeds the leading competitive solutions. We deliver the highest sensitivity, the lowest power, and the fastest time-to-first-fix (TTFF). When other solutions dropout - deep indoors, in urban canyons, transitioning from strong to weak satellite signals or from in-vehicle to pedestrian operation - our solutions keep on tracking, for a better experience that works wherever consumers go.

The GNS7560 is a high-performance, single-chip GPS solution. It supports GSM, W-CDMA, and CDMA control plane A-GPS assistance data, supports SUPL user plane A-GPS assistance data, and exceeds 3GPP and 3GPP2 performance requirements. It covers all the cellular reference frequencies (10 to 50 MHz), supports an I/O voltage of 1.8 to 3.3 V, has UART and SPI control interfaces, and operates over the range of -40 to +85 °C. The GNS4540 is an ultra-low-power version of the GNS7560.

The GNR1040 is an ultra-low-power L1 GPS RFIC. It consumes only 15 mW, has a supply voltage of 1.8 V, and is available in a small 24-pin QFN that measures only 4 x 4 mm. It supports all the cellular reference frequencies (10 to 50 MHz), and integrates an LNA, IF filtering, PLL, VCO, and SPI control interface.
